Essentials Church meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at the Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School, 1800 South Main Street, Wake Forest, 27587
Our Mission is to bring people to Christ and teach them how the Word of God can transform their lives.
We have a vision to glorify God so that others might come to glorify Him too.
It is our desire to reach the un-churched, disciple believers, strengthen families, be authentic and connect with the community.
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention; the Baptist Sate Convention of North Carolina; and the Raleigh Baptist Association of Churches. We are sponsored by Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Raleigh, Rock Spring Baptist Church of Louisburg, and Liberty Church Planting Network.
Essentials Church is a new church plant in the Wake Forest area. Throughout history, God has always been a sender. After all, He sent us His son, who in turn sends us. The driving issue in this particular church plant is fulfilling the Great Commission.
Our Purpose: Church planting provides the most effective means of reaching those who have no church home. In all of our planning and programming, we stay focused on our core purpose to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We have no desire to lead people away from other churches.
Faith: A new church plant in the Wake Forest, NC area challenges us to step out in faith beyond our current comfort levels. In response to the Lord calling Abraham to go to a land where he would show him, Genesis 15:6 says, "and he believed in the Lord and He accounted it to him for righteousness." We recognize God’s sufficiency and strive to be faithful with what He entrusts to us.
Prayer: We recognize the power and absolute necessity of seeking God’s direction at every stage of this process. Matthew 21:22 says, "And all things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." We make prayer a priority.
Relationships: Establishing, building and nurturing authentic relationships with God, with one another, and with the community takes priority in all we do. We are committed to love each other (I Corinthians 13).
Excellence: We strive for excellence in all that we do. Excellence honors God. We desire to eliminate barriers between Christ and the unsaved.
